CPR for Graduation Requirement (14–18)
Get your high school requirement checked off, plus earn a certification!
Service Description
Taught by two first responders with Alamance EMS—one of which is a member of the local homeschool community—this 3.5-hour course will equip any upcoming high school graduate with the mental tools to be able to react in an emergency requiring CPR. Each student will participate in interactive lectures accompanied by demonstrations, as well as have hands-on practice with both adult and infant manikins. It will count toward the new NC graduation requirement for CPR instruction. We will also provide each student with an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED certification, whose relevance carries over to a number of entry-level jobs (e.g. camp counseling, babysitting). We are running a 5-student minimum for each class (with a maximum of 12 to keep the class personal) with an age minimum of 14. Contact us with any inquiry!
